Soul Retrieval

I was filled with a big empty space
Darkness, Shadows, nothing more
I looked within felt this big empty place
And knew it held so much more

Something was missing
What could it be?
That which was taken
And yet was part of me

My soul is in pieces
Scattered on the winds
My soul can be mended
If I find its pieces

The search is hard I fight scratch and bite
Fall down, rise up, start again
I tear your flesh as you tear up mine
Blood spills, bone splits, and there it shines

Something I’m missing
Bright shining light
Sparkling and glistening
And quite known to me

So there is another piece of my soul
I gather them back now so I can be whole
So there is another piece of my soul
I gather them back now so I can be whole

So there is another piece of my soul
I gather them back now so I can be whole
So there is another piece of my soul
I gather them back now so I can be whole

Stoneacorn (Xander)

These songs, poems, and reflections offer an insight to who I am and are my autobiography. I am a poet, a song writer, a witch. I dance my Wyrd in my practice; in how I choose to live; in who I share my moments with. My heart is black, white, grey and purple like the stone beneath my feet, the bones of Grandfather Green. My eyes contain her Stars and her deep dark well as I straddle the hedge and listen to the winds. My form is the tree that connects all realms, clothed in holly and oak. I am Stoneacorn
