Piper

Written during a weekend workshop on the Pied Piper, November 2015

Piper why’d you come to me
If a shadow’s all you’ll be
Who haunts me whether I wake or sleep
Lead me from this endless deep

Piper show your face to me
Such brilliant radiance I’d see
Appear to me and take my hand
Show to me your fabled land

Piper play your pipe for me
Lead me from my misery
Dance me through life’s ebbs and flows
Help me overcome my woes

Piper play your dream for me
A believer maybe then I’d be
Who takes life’s chances by the horns
Embracing life in its many forms

Piper such enchantments bring
Enticing all around to sing
Forget illusions that we hold
Understand our true pot of gold

Forget illusions that we hold
And understand our true pot of gold

Listen to the song

Stoneacorn (Xander)

These songs, poems, and reflections offer an insight to who I am and are my autobiography. I am a poet, a song writer, a witch. I dance my Wyrd in my practice; in how I choose to live; in who I share my moments with. My heart is black, white, grey and purple like the stone beneath my feet, the bones of Grandfather Green. My eyes contain her Stars and her deep dark well as I straddle the hedge and listen to the winds. My form is the tree that connects all realms, clothed in holly and oak. I am Stoneacorn
