Blodeuwedd Altar

Things I had forgotten

Inspired by Blodeuwedd.

When I first saw him
When our eyes first met
He reminded me
Of things I had forgotten

Like how brightly
The stars shine at night
Moonlight on skin
Dancing on the water
Spiralling through the leaves
Whispered promises
Silenced by the wind

And he called to me
And he sang of
Mossy covered stone
And dark vein-streaked trees
Buried deep within
Those hollowed sacred mounds
From whence I came

I remember
I was flying up so high
Feeling so alive
Protected by the dark
Everything was so clear
And within my grasp
Life and death and life

And he called to me
And he sang of
Mossy covered stone
And dark vein-streaked trees
Buried deep within
Those hollowed sacred mounds
From whence I came

When I first saw him
When our eyes first met
He reminded me
Of things I had forgotten

Stoneacorn (Xander)

These songs, poems, and reflections offer an insight to who I am and are my autobiography. I am a poet, a song writer, a witch. I dance my Wyrd in my practice; in how I choose to live; in who I share my moments with. My heart is black, white, grey and purple like the stone beneath my feet, the bones of Grandfather Green. My eyes contain her Stars and her deep dark well as I straddle the hedge and listen to the winds. My form is the tree that connects all realms, clothed in holly and oak. I am Stoneacorn
