Watching from Afar

With deepest love for Raphael (August 2018)

I saw your grief falling
Through my skies just like rain
Read your heart drenched message
Heard your sorrow
Felt your pain

Sent healing blessings travelling
Through the rocks
To your mountain home
Flowing down the waters
Of your rivers and your snow

And my spirit
Mourns with your spirit
To the beat of your
Bleeding heart
I will hold you in your sorrow
As your world seems to fall apart

And my spirit
Calls to your spirit
Remember
She’s with the stars
At the campfires of the old ones
Watching from afar

Emu feathers shaking
Wailing voices rise
Through the smoke and fire
To the sun
Low in the sky

Bogong Moth is flying
Through the warmth of
Her earthly days
Taking memories of your love
With her back into her cave

And my spirit
Mourns with your spirit
To the beat of your
Bleeding heart
I will hold you in your sorrow
As your world seems to fall apart

And my spirit
Calls to your spirit
Remember
She’s with the stars
At the campfires of the old ones
Watching from afar

At the campfires of the old ones
Watching from afar

Stoneacorn (Xander)

These songs, poems, and reflections offer an insight to who I am and are my autobiography. I am a poet, a song writer, a witch. I dance my Wyrd in my practice; in how I choose to live; in who I share my moments with. My heart is black, white, grey and purple like the stone beneath my feet, the bones of Grandfather Green. My eyes contain her Stars and her deep dark well as I straddle the hedge and listen to the winds. My form is the tree that connects all realms, clothed in holly and oak. I am Stoneacorn
