My Hallowed Guest

For Brandon

Come to the door my Hallowed Guest
But before you enter inside
Bring what you honour and leave the rest
You’re in for one Hell of a ride

To pass through a door seems an easy thing
One step, another, that’s all
To enter within you need to leave without
Remember it’s always your call

A threshold is crossed but not by a step
Don’t be fooled by your eyes
Heart through intention and action is best
You can’t move with falsehoods and lies

Don’t ignore what you promised my Hallowed Guest
And don’t take back whatever you gift
Deep consequence weaves and threads through it all
So beware that you do not drift

To step through to Darkness or step through to Light
Your hand is what’s holding the key
To dance through the roses is to Dance through the thorns
And both have great blessings for thee

So come and step through my Hallowed Guest
And as you walk through this door
Know if the crossing is easy then you never crossed
The threshold awaits nothing more

Stoneacorn (Xander)

These songs, poems, and reflections offer an insight to who I am and are my autobiography. I am a poet, a song writer, a witch. I dance my Wyrd in my practice; in how I choose to live; in who I share my moments with. My heart is black, white, grey and purple like the stone beneath my feet, the bones of Grandfather Green. My eyes contain her Stars and her deep dark well as I straddle the hedge and listen to the winds. My form is the tree that connects all realms, clothed in holly and oak. I am Stoneacorn
