I Roll Like Thunder

Dedicated to Lisa J

I roll like thunder with the wild untamed sea
And I hear your voice calling to me
Come to the woods my love
Come to the woods
Come to the woods my love
Come

My path reaches out
His hand grasping mine
I wander down its arc
Embraced by the Divine
Drawn into Her web
Her threads are weaving me
I weave them instead
She laughs teasingly

I roll like thunder with the wild untamed sea
And I hear your voice calling to me
Come to the woods my love
Come to the woods
Come to the woods my love
Come

How by moonlight
My skin a silver sheen
Serpentine delight
Even shadows scream
I remember who I am
Traced my river red
With Sword of light in hand
My Sacred promise said

I roll like thunder with the wild untamed sea
And I hear your voice calling to me
Come to the woods my love
Come to the woods
Come to the woods my love
Come

There is my heart
Shining Emerald Green
The circle of my Art
My eyes begin to gleam
I feel her Thorny Rose
Break free from deep within
My wings are branching out
New journey soon begins

And I roll like thunder with the wild untamed sea
And I hear your voice calling to me
Come to the woods my love
Come to the woods
Come to the woods my love
Come

These songs, poems, and reflections offer an insight to who I am and are my autobiography. I am a poet, a song writer, a witch. I dance my Wyrd in my practice; in how I choose to live; in who I share my moments with. My heart is black, white, grey and purple like the stone beneath my feet, the bones of Grandfather Green. My eyes contain her Stars and her deep dark well as I straddle the hedge and listen to the winds. My form is the tree that connects all realms, clothed in holly and oak. I am Stoneacorn
