Dedications

One of my favourite things to do is write a song or poem as a gift for someone – a dedication to them. Sometimes it is to honour or acknowledge something that is happening in their life, sometimes it is a way for me to thank them for something they have done for me, and sometimes it’s just something that feels right for me to do.

Dedications are written with the person the song or poem is for in mind and tailored to our relationship, my understanding of who they are and what they like. If the dedication is for a specific event, then the song will include something that is relevant.
